What You'll Be Doing:
- Share Your Expertise: Teach students essential aircraft maintenance concepts, including airframe and powerplant systems.
- Bring Learning to Life: Lead classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on technical training.
- Develop Future Technicians: Mentor students and help them build confidence in their technical abilities.
- Connect Theory to Practice: Use your real-world aviation experience to prepare students for industry careers.
- Support Student Success: Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and maintain a positive, safety-focused learning environment.
- Collaborate With Your Team: Work alongside fellow instructors to continuously improve the student learning experience.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or four years of relevant aviation maintenance experience, subject to university qualification requirements.
- Hands-on experience in commercial, military, or corporate aviation maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others learn.
- Ability to demonstrate safe aviation maintenance practices.
- Basic computer proficiency and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Aviation or a related field.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience.
